Welcome to Neuch@aile – Tandem Paragliding

My name is Silvio Chiesa. I am a qualified paramedic and a passionate paraglider pilot.

Over the past 20 years, my work as a paramedic has taught me the importance of safety, staying calm and building trust, even in the most unpredictable situations. Today, I want to put this experience to work in another passion of mine: sharing the joy of tandem paragliding and helping others discover the magic of flying.

I discovered paragliding through a desire to gain a new perspective and enjoy the beauty of the natural world from above. Since obtaining my pilot licence in 2018, my passion for the sport has continued to grow, particularly through cross-country flying and exploring the stunning landscapes around the Neuchâtel region and the Alps, including flights at altitudes of over 4,000 metres.

My decision to take up tandem paragliding was also inspired by my family. My daughters often asked if they could share this passion with me and experience paragliding by my side. Their enthusiasm naturally encouraged me to take the next step in my training and obtain my commercial tandem pilot licence. From the very beginning, my priority was clear: to give my loved ones the opportunity to fly under the best possible safety conditions.

Over time, I have had the privilege of sharing these special moments with my family and friends. Seeing their joy and amazement as they experienced the world from the air was truly rewarding. It was this desire to share those emotions and introduce others to the wonderful experience of flying that inspired me to create Neuch@aile Tandem Paragliding.

Today, as a professional tandem paraglider pilot licensed by the Swiss Hang Gliding Association (FSVL), I invite you to share this experience with me. Whether you are looking forward to your very first flight, planning a family adventure or simply wanting to experience something different, I will be delighted to accompany you.

My goal is simple: your safety, your comfort and, above all, your enjoyment.

Whether you are an adventure seeker looking for a thrill or trying paragliding for the very first time, I will guide you with professionalism, a calm approach and a friendly attitude, always at your own pace.

I look forward to showing you the beautiful Neuchâtel region and other breathtaking landscapes from a bird’s-eye view!
